Looking to introduce museum visitors to their large collection of restaurant menus, The Museum of History and Industry (MOHAI) needed an interactive touchtable activity that was engaging and fun. Collaborating with the museum and Sound Development, we designed Restaurant Time Machine: A retro diner interface (UI) welcomes the user in where they meet Ruby – the sassy waitress who, through a series of multiple choice questions, makes a restaurant recommendation to the user and allows them to explore the restaurant’s menu in detail.
